Music Unwrapped - Family Concert
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND:
After a highly successful 2011 Music Unwrapped performance, the Empress Theatre is once again presenting this wonderfully enriching concert for families and their children.
Music Unwrapped is a concert designed to introduce parents, children and others to the rich world and heritage of classical music. Performed by Project Muse, our young rising stars of classical music.
2012 Project Muse Musicians include:
Clarinet - Erin Fung
Flute - Sarah Gieck
Harp - Olivia Ritchey
Viola - Brooke Day
Exposing babies and youth to classical music by Bach, Mozart and Beethoven has been shown through research dating as far back as the mid-1800s to produce positive effects in child development, health and spatial reasoning.
"The Empress Theatre works to inspire our local youth, by bringing in some of the most ta
