CELEBRATING 100 Years in 2012! Nestled in Fort Macleod's historic main street, the Empress Theatre is Alberta's oldest continually operating theatre at 99 years of age. Since 1912, the Empress has been serving up an eclectic mix of movies, concerts, and live theatre to audiences from all over Southern Alberta.
